Learning and Resources
Nonprofit New York hosts more than 45 in-person workshops, forums, and online webinars as part of our training programming. Nonprofit New York’s training program is designed to give participants a firm grasp of the fundamental concepts within each of our Key Areas of Nonprofit Excellence.
Nonprofit Excellence Awards
Recognizes innovative and replicable nonprofit management practices, and gives organizations a free 360-degree review of their management strategies and culminates in the Best Nonprofit Conference, an all-day conference that incorporated concepts and strategies that enhance learning.
Policy and Advocacy
We monitor, assess, and respond to nonprofit-related policy proposals throughout New York City and New York State. We engage with, inform, and work with government leaders, through our Government Relations Council, to create government policies that make sense for nonprofits. We engage in strategic alliances with community leaders to advance policy that supports the sector.
